The HuaAn W-beam guardrail is a road safety crash barrier, manufactured to meet the M180 standard, and is specifically designed to enhance highway safety. Its primary function is to prevent vehicles from veering off the road and colliding with roadside structures or objects, making it ideal for installation along highways, docks, aisles, curves, and slopes. This guardrail is engineered for effective run-off-road collision protection.

Our HuaAn W-beam guardrail is built using the latest highway safety barrier technology, ensuring maximum strength and durability. Additionally, our M180 guardrails have successfully passed crash tests at levels TL1, TL2, TL3, and TL4, in compliance with MASH standards.

The guardrail meets various containment levels as defined by EN 1317, including HIW3-A, HIW4-A, HIW6, H2W2, H2W3-A, H2W4-A, H2W5, H2W6, H3, H4bW2, and H1-B-W5, confirming its high performance across multiple containment classifications.

1. As part of the rewrite of NCHRP 350 [NCHRP Project 22-14(2)], the MGS Barrier was successfully tested;
2. With both the 5000-pound quad cab and 5000-pound 3/4-ton pickup trucks;
3. With the 2425-pound small car at the 32″ rail height;
4. The MGS Barrier has a greater construction tolerance: Was tested to 32″;
5. Having all of the components of the MGS system tested at 27 5/8″ allows the states to both set a construction tolerance for the rail system and to overlay the road without adjusting the system;
6. Both tangent and flared terminals were tested in the MGS configuration as an option;
